ADIRA Metal Forming Solutions has created a robotised bending cell for the profiles industry. This solution revolutionises the large-scale production process, giving it unequalled flexibility by making it possible to go from making one reference to the next with a speed incomparable to traditional profilers. This solution comes in response to the need for innovation in the industrial application of our client, NK Profiel, at the same time as increasing market demand for different types of profiles (C, C+, L, Sigma, Sigma +, U and Z) already produced by ADIRA Metal Forming Solutions. The reason NK Profiel ordered the project was based on its need to create a more versatile and more flexible alternative to the profiler, with a very short setup time, given that NK Profiel uses a large number of profiling machines that are appropriate for large-scale production. However, when only small quantities are needed, the profitability of the profiler falls dramatically, as the setup can take several days.
